31st Annual Longmont Criterium

Sunday July 9th, 2017

2017 marks the 31sth Annual Longmont Criterium Classic. The 0.7 mile “L” shaped course is mostly flat and winds around shady, historic Thompson Park. Wide, smooth streets make this a fast and exciting event for both racers and spectators. The start/finish area and registration is located near the intersection of Pratt & 4th. This year we are hosting the Colorado Criterium State Championships!

Register for the race at www.usacycling.org
Preregistration is available on USAC until 11:59 p.m. July 7, 2017. Registration fees are $TBD for preregistration (+ standard USAC online registration fee) or $40 for race day registration. The fee for a second race is $15. Juniors race fee is $10 in Juniors events.

Race day registration opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes 40 minutes prior to each race. USAC license required and must be presented on race day. A $10 USAC one-day license is available on-site for Cat 5 Men and Cat 4 women. BRAC membership also required and membership stick must be presented along with USAC license on race day. BRAC one-day memberships are available for $5 on-site. Annual memberships can be purchased at coloradocycling.org.

The ever-popular kids race (children under 9) will begin at 12:40 p.m. Register the day of the race at the registration tent. Registration is free, but parents must sign a standard ACA release form. Kids race registration closes at 11:45 a.m.
